We help people impacted by chronic drug and alcohol abuse to discover a new confidence in life

We are an independent charity set up in 2014 that works with individuals whose lives have been severely impacted by chronic drug or alcohol misuse and who have experienced, as a pre-cursor or consequence of, significant social disadvantage and exclusion. We aim to move people out of the ‘revolving door’ of substance misuse treatment and into society. We achieve this through our range of engaging and accessible psychology courses, shown to develop greater self-esteem, emotional resilience, and independence.
Working with people who have often been written off by society, we are ambitious for what they are capable of and help individuals to consciously choose how they want to live - be it in relation to being better parents, family members or partners, volunteering, or gaining employment and financial independence. Our primary focus is supporting individuals to begin building the foundations of healthy self-esteem. We believe that employment, sustained recovery, realising potential and becoming an active part of their community is only achievable when this solid foundation is in place.
- Our people care about the work that they do and are dedicated to making a difference in the world
